The AGM was hosted by the Harp & Thistle Pipe Band this year. SUSPBA sends many thanks to P/M Don Goller and April Witteman for all their hard work and preparations for the meeting this year. The location was in beautiful Ft Myers Beach, at the American Legion Hall. We had a great turnout and much was accomplished. As always, the Champion Supreme winners performed for the membership at the close of the meeting. Both Ft Lauderdale bands gr 5 and gr 4b and the City of Dunedin gr 4a band entertained the members. Individual C.S. winners also played, including Roberta Sefcik, Haley Brinton, Michael Witteman, Charles Hibbs, and Will Sefcik. SUSPBA congratulates them on their victory this year and appreciates the fact that they took time to travel and perform for everyone! Thanks to all who came and participated!
The slate of nominees voted into office for the
Executive Board for 2008-2009 are: Member at Large, Dick Ross Member at Large, John Geddes Treasurer/Secretary, Marge Longphee The AGM 2007 minutes were approved.
